Curtiss-Wright has announced the new VPX3-656, a SOSA™-aligned OpenVPX Ethernet switch designed to bring Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) capabilities to embedded computing applications.

TSN enables deterministic Ethernet communications, helping system designers achieve predictable network performance for mission-critical applications while reducing the cost and complexity often associated with traditional networking solutions.
